Songs in My Life

Setiap saat, kala suka atau duka muzik sentiasa menemani saya. Kalau tidak di udara, kat dalam minda saya. Bukan satu perkara asing bagi saya untuk mendengar lagu-lagu kegemaran saya kat dalam minda saya. Agaknya sebagai seorang 'Audio-Visual', right brain person -  lagu dan imaginasi merupakan satu perkara yang sangat saya senangi. Imaginasi saya adakalanya membawa saya jauh dari segala kekecewaan yang saya alami. Kala saya suka, kala saya sedih, marah, tak puas hati dengan pencapaian saya...benchmark saya untuk diri sendiri adakalanya tak masuk akal. But I always try to be the high achiever...dreams for the moon and end ups with the sun, maka berkumandanglah lagu one step at a time dari Jordin Sparks. Kalau tension sangat pasang kuat-kuat 'volume' tu...hah..lepas tu dapat la balik mood yang hilang...

Saat saya kecewa sebab tak dapat CGPA4.00 masa semester 2 dan 4 EMBA, saya pasang lagu ni...the Climb by Miley Cyrus...just to remind myself that there will always be an obstacles in my journey to success... If I give up now..I will never know how does it feel to embrace success...which I'm glad that...not even once,  in my entire 37 years of living... I ever give up on my dreams...Alhamdulillah the words(lyrics) and the melody keep me strong to face my journey...Alhamdulillah juga dapat siapkan EMBA walaupun tak dapat CGPA 4.00 but I end up with 3.95...and achieve my goal to receive the Best Master Award from Pro Chancellor UiTM and the most respected Tan Sri Arsyad Ayob.

Bukan niat nak menunjuk-nunjuk apatah lagi membangga diri,  tetapi sebagai inspirasi untuk anak-anak didik tersayang...If I can make it - i mean with all the commitments as a wife, a mother to Adam n Syar, a lecturer that have to work and study at the same time, there should be no reason for you guys to get your CGPA4.00 and have a chance to further your study overseas.

 Thinking back, I'm glad I finally got back my weekends. For two years while studying, I miss all the weekends with my boys and my-mother in law's boy... My weekends were full with classes, tutorials and discussion with my classmates...(thank you my dear Aim and Latif -I can't make it without you guys...). Now, it's payback time...haha...can't wait for August to come...why??? because from August onwards my weekends will be at Kompleks Sukan Perahu Layar, Pengkalan Balak. Learn to Sail and swim...(kecualilah kalau kena jadi "cheerleader' Adam dan Amsyar and team Perahu Layar USPTN MSN Melaka yang akan bertanding dalam Sailing Open Regatta yang diadakan setiap bulan secara bergilir di seluruh Malaysia kecuali Sarawak dan Kelantan).

And..tonight, while thinking of someone so far away...my hunny bunny BFF, I would like to dedicate this song to you dear. I do miss you...a lots...and it drive me crazy to think that its noon over there while here, it's already passed my normal bedtime( I go to sleep at 9.00pm so that I can wake up early at 3.00 am to do some reading or just thinking about what moves to make to  achieve my dreams list.)

Dan untuk saat ini, saya sudah penat memikirkan soalan-soalan untuk 'final exam'. Soalan Creativity and Innovation sudah separuh siap untuk kedua-dua set. Just a few more essay questions. Untuk seketika saya nak layan lagu ni...

and as I speak my mind all the time..I dedicate this song to everyone that I love....the one that brings the smile to me lately...and to my students... I wear selendang sebelum I wear tudung...so jgn pelik kalau sekarang I pakai selendang semula...Enjoy this song k...selamat malam.
